Meet Aimee
A wife, mother of three young kids, ultra marathon runner and a seasoned entrepreneur. Aimee has over 12 years of experience in the health and wellness industry as a Holistic Chiropractor and personal trainer. Her busy life has taught her a thing or two about staying in top shape, mentally and physically, while juggling a busy life.
Aimee's journey through various health practices has led her to a simple truth: optimal health comes from simplicity. Now, she's on a mission to empower women to achieve wellness goals through manageable, everyday habits, ensuring a healthier, happier life without the sacrifice.
Aimee's unique approach addresses not just the physical, but the mental and nutritional aspects of health and wellbeing. With her passion for women's wellness, she's dedicated to supporting women in enhancing their bodies and minds, inside and out. 10-Minute Dirt Nap
Aimee is an adventurous soul, gaining satisfaction from testing her limits and ultra marathons are a sure way to test those limits. This is where Aimee learnt about 10-minute dirt naps.
A 10-minute dirt nap is a micro break taken by ultra marathon runners during races to recharge physically and mentally. These naps involve sleeping on the ground and are a crucial strategy for managing the intense physical and mental demands of the race. Athletes are pushed to their limits, so these short breaks help them sustain their energy, mental focus and endurance throughout the gruelling event.
For many women life is like an ultra marathon - going on and on and on - with little or no time to rejuvenate. Aimee knew that learning to take 10 minutes to intentionally reset or focus on one’s wellbeing (such as drinking water, exercising or doing breathing techniques), aka a 10-minute dirt nap, would make life so much better for many women. The 10-Minute Dirt Nap brand was born.
